Limescale (Hardness) is one of the most common household problems. Water with a large amount of white deposits (scale) is called hard. Water is called hard when it contains large amounts of calcium and magnesium salts. These chemicals form hard deposits on surfaces that come into contact with water and cause a variety of problems, such as:
1. Reducing the service life of water supply systems;
2. Reducing the service life of heating systems;
3. Failure of heating devices - boilers and boilers;
4. Hard deposits on plumbing fixtures and metal surfaces
5. Increased consumption of detergents
6. Increased energy consumption due to loss of power of water heating elements.
7. Dry skin and brittle hair.
8. Limescale deposits on dishwashers and washing machines
Water Softener will solve all problems associated with scale.
How does a softener filter work?
The softener filter passes water through a layer of ion-exchange granular loading, which replaces hardness salts (calcium and magnesium ions) with sodium ions.
Over time, the resin becomes saturated with calcium and magnesium ions - its filtering ability decreases. This ability is restored by washing the filter with a solution of tableted NaCl salt. This is why it is so important not to forget to add salt to the salt tank on time.
Service depends on both the quality of your water and your water consumption. Ideally, service the control valve at least once a year, and replace the filter material once every 5-7 years.
Attention!!! To install a filter at home, a water analysis is required.
